An emotional orchestral track for an upcoming short film called "Angora Road," directed by Justin Melson.
I also doubled this track as an entry for the NGADM 2017 tournament.
I love the warm strings and emotion at the beginning. The pacing is slow, but every little phrase is so well-shaped. The melodic content is gorgeous, and I love the sense of climax by around 1:10. The texture is well-balanced and full. The overall structure and composition of this piece are relatively simple, but that simplicity acts as a canvas for the emotional appeal of the piece. Absolutely gorgeous work. I’d love to see you flesh out the structure a little more, but as it is it’s a phenomenal piece. What a great creative way of addressing your melancholy mood, too. By all means, keep up the great work! :D
That realism is incredible. Well written and well produced. There's a ton of emotion in this.
But I'm just repeating probably what everyone else is thinking.
Ughhh this is just gorgeous.
Very fitting piece for expressing sadness and a hope, and this relaxes me quite a bit where I can feel at peace. I've mentioned to you in the past that your production work in achieving realism is strong. Combined with this is your superb writing. Your voice leadings enhance the realism to this work. And now I feel like listening to some Mahler right now because of you.
