The On Go EP consists of tracks which exemplify my usual intricacies but come with some unique twists.
Track 3: Forgotten Soli Etude
He used to play the keys in a bar when he was younger. But the good ol' days are long gone. Now, he is much older and his fingers lack the gusto of his youth. That didn't stop him from sitting down next to the secluded piano by the fountain, trying to recall the old melodies, relive the old memories. As the lonely wind rustled his shaggy beard and the chirps of the birds invisibly hit his rugged face, he played small chunks of music at a time as they came back to him. He underestimated how much of the forgotten soli etude he forgot in solitude, after he lost his gigs and took up mountain climbing alone - his current, isolated lifestyle. If only he could go back to his childhood...
Here's a nice, pensive solo piano track :) It's heavily inspired by the ambiance of the Breath of the Wild OST, if any of you are familiar with that :3 Today I had oral surgery and everything hurts, so this piece is meant to express the emotions I'm feeling right now, rather than be a fully viable competition entry. The structure of a piece like this is inherently dull, so if you guys find this boring I'll take the hit.

The whole thing with ambiance is it's meant to accompany something else, not calling too much attention to itself. It's why it was used in the new zelda game, and why this one might've come across as dull.
It's really cool how calm and easygoing this track is.
The peacefulness of the ambient bird noises and chimes compliment the gentle piano as the piano takes a generous amount of time to play its slow song.
Ending on an increasingly uplifting tone, the song shows it's true colors at the end. They are colors of remembrance and significance, which I only wished propagated a while longer or managed to find a place alongside the birds and the chimes and the wind.
I love it (-:
I love the melodies, how you used piano (quiet) and forte (loud). I'm actually a piano player myself!
